SCARF now Live - This is the Changes

I have done a major redo of SCARF website ....

I have moved from our previous hosting site to Google Sites .

If you use http://scarf.hobby-site.com you will be directed to the new site .

If you use the best-bargains.co.za/scarf link you need to use the above link to get to new site ....(http://scarf.hobby-site.com)

The old Site will be up till end November .....

Things that has changed ....

Main Page

    • Look and feel is much more user and professional looking (my opinion :-) )
    • Main page now has a Comment , For Sale , Wanted , Notice viewer ..... I took the liberty to put a few things in there . To add content to the site this will be what you Will/Can/Should/Could use ..... Go to the FEEDBACK link in main menu ....
    • At the bottom of the main page is a Encyclopedia Britannica gadget --- this give general info about aircraft ....Interesting ....
    • Also new - On left hand Side menu you now have a RSS Feed --- If you Subscribe you will get Notified via your RSS reader about any announcements made on SCARF site ..... If you don't want to Subscribe ...look at main page , at the bottom, SCARF Announcement link ....this is what you will get if you do subscribe ....General info etc ....
    • The website is now fully Searchable , If you search for ex: regional , you will get the two documents about the KZN Regional Meetings ......you also have the option to search Google ...click on down arrow next to search --Top right of Page ....

Weather Page

    • Now easier to get to , straight from main menu , The thing we most interested in I think !!!
    • Still have the WindGuru gadget --- Set on top of Club House ...Show Wind , Rain , Temp , Wind Direction etc etc ..
    • NEW - Margate Weather
    • NEW - Also have cloud cover gadget --- just drag with your mouse or zoom in to KZN to see cloud cover for our area ...Updated every hour ...

Feedback Page

    • Enter your Comments , for Sale , Wanted , Event News , Notifications Etc in here ..
    • To see your just posted comments , go back to main page (SCARF Home) to see your Posting ..
    • DON'T MAKE MISTAKES WHEN POSTING - Thus Spelling mistakes , price etc ...It can not be edited afterwards ...Sorry working on that !

    • No real Change - Have a form people can fill in , but it load so slowly that I will probably remove it ...
