Hi Fellow Model Fliers,
Once again a beautiful Sunday, yesterday was enjoyed by all at the field. Twelve pilots signed the register. Please remember if you are a member, visitor or pilot to sign our club register.
There is still a number of members who have not paid their subs, please pay up before you fly, if you fly as an unpaid member you are doing so illegally and endangering our club and all its members.
Well done to Tinus, who had his first landing very successful. Unfortunately Dean Ferguson wiped his .60 stick out. Most of us enjoyed a nice lunchtime braai with a lot of chit chat.
Dave Claxton maidened his E-Flite Super Cub 32e,
and completed 'take-off, circuit and landing' with the FMS Spitty.
As you are probably aware our Sunday brunch with the Kingsburgh club has been postponed till the 19th May. However a few Durban members still want to join us on Sunday and they are most welcome to do so. The normal lunch time braai to take place. Weather permitting I think we will have lots of fun on Sunday.
Yesterday we continued with the painting of the club house and a special thanks to Dave Claxton for paying the wage a painter. Adi Critten donated black paint and brushes for the poles and pillars.
Congratulations to our Mr. Treasurer and Secretary, Dave Parry who is celebrating a milestone birthday today.
